Dear Friends:
Please Join us in reaching the necessary signatures needed to get “Rosie’s Law” put before the California legislature and the U.S. Congress for a vote.
We need 10,000 plus signatures!
There is a strong link between bullying and suicide, as suggested by recent bullying-related suicides in the US and other countries. Parents, teachers, and students learn the dangers of bullying and help students who may be at risk of committing suicide.
In recent years, a series of bullying-related suicides in the US and across the globe have drawn attention to the connection between bullying and suicide. (https://www.cdc.gov/healthyyouth/data/yrbs/overview.htm)
Too many adults still see bullying as “just part of being a kid,” This is not the case!…
Please lets not let the memory of Rosalie Avila-Olague and the many of our children and young adults who have succumb to the devastating effects of being bullied become just another “human interest story” that goes away in time.
